Learn the art of spoken-word poetry! This workshop is composed of one, two-hour class. The first hour focuses exclusively on writing, with topics like learning what makes a spoken-word piece compelling, effective literary tools to use and writing practices. The second hour focuses on performance with instruction on analyzing what makes a strong performance and with the opportunity for students to share work and receive feedback.
